Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress; two countermarks: head of Apollo to right and monogram of KA within circular incuse and KAΛ above grain ear within rectangular incuse. Rev. AΛEΞANΔ[POY] Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right. Naumann E-Auction 148 (2025), 104. Cf. Price 1406g. For countermarks, Price p. 69. Very rare with these interesting countermarks. Slightly rough and with some weakness from countermarking, otherwise, fine.

The countermarks were applied by the cities of Kallatis (with the grain ear), and Kalchedon (wit the head of Apollo)
